Google Forms For User Feedback

An easy way to ask a few questions within your blog or website is to use Google Forms.   Similar to free survey tools like Survey Monkey, Google Forms is self service and customizable.  Creating a form is easy and there are several templates to choose from.

WordPress doesn’t allow embedded forms in blog posts but here’s an example from my company naming contest:

Click here to see the actual form.

What’s great about it is that the submitted info goes straight into a Google Document for analysis.

You can check out the results at any time and even put it a Form results gadget your iGoogle page.

Of course, you may want a more customized form.  In that case, you’ll have to look for something more sophisticated.  But something quick and dirty, Google has the trick.
